This short film is set in 18th century Northern Germany, five children break free from the restrictions imposed on them by adult society with incalculable effects.
This film was initiated by ourselves as our diploma in costume design. We cast the actors, made the costumes, chose the locations and props, and then gave the whole package to the writer and director to play with.
The idea was to take the children of Jean Siméon Chardin's portraits out of their domestic security, put them outside and confront them with liberty.
